If you want your emails to be read you need to make your marketing not look like marketing…Use minimal design and branding…Use a real persons from name versus a company name…Write as though talking to a friend one-to-one…All of the most successful ads in the world focused on hiding the sales process.Because people don’t want to be sold to…They want to be stimulated. The Cadbury Gorilla is one of my favorite examples of marketing that doesn’t look like marketing. Does your email marketing look like marketing? #emailmarketing #ads #marketing

I see 99% of email marketers miss these two crucial elements in their subject lines.I am fairly shocked at how few subject lines grab my attention these days…Even marketers I highly respect seem to be getting lazy. But as the subject line is the first thing your potential customers will see… It’s critically important to get it right. What are the two things I see most marketers miss? Pain points and Outcomes. In marketing, this is all that matters…And the more specific you can be with your pain points and outcomes…The better your marketing is going to perform. Anything in between those things is just throat-clearing….Get to the point…What is the ONE thing that is making your audience’s lives a misery? What is the ONE thing they would trade anything for? Slice through the noise with these two elements in every subject line you write from now on. Are your subject lines lacking pain points and outcomes?

Money/success/life is much like swimming in an ocean…When water is still it’s best to swim hard so as to not sink to the bottom…But when the waves come crashing down, it’s best to still and go with the flow.Staying stagnant and complacent in times of ease is a surefire way to get a kick up the butt…And being in a state of panic and exacerbation in times of chaos is a surefire way to get pummeled.

If you want to send better emails to your list the key is to NOT think…I’ve been creating marketing content for 8 years and music for about 18 years. What I’ve learned about creating is that when thinking starts, creativity stops. This is because creating is an act of joy…But when you’re thinking… You’re in a problem-solving state…Which is stressful. So in order to cut off that stress state, and get into a flow it’s simple… Don’t give yourself time to think…And just write the first thing that comes to mind…Then once you start… Don’t stop! There’s no risk when it comes to creating, so you may as well throw as much spaghetti at the wall as you can. Take a seat… Have an intention… A go go go!P.S. The video below is of me shooting my first-ever gun. No word of a lie I hit the bullseye on my first shot. I believe I was able to do this because I didn’t allow myself to think too much. I listened to the rules, trusted my instincts, and then ready aim, fired.

I believe that confidecne is one of the most important elements to have in a sales message…I just got done writing a sales email for a sales page in the coaching space that seemed good at the start…But the lack of confidecne killed it’s effectiveness. It started off by sharing amazing results of their clients…Then it went on to say how it would be unlikely the person reading could get similar results. They were trying to be transparent, eithical, and realistic…(Which sounds good on the outside)...But the effect led to more of a feeling of uncertainty…which of course is NOT good for sales. I think a more “Andrew Tate” or “Donald Trump” Kind of attitude should be applied to sales messages…Not a fan of eiether people personally… But there is something to be said about having pure conviction in who you are, what your value is and your belief in your abilty to help people is. Wanna know a secret to easily boosting confidence in to your sales message? Hire someone else to write your sales message for you.Ever notice how it’s so much easier to help other people than it is to help yourself? That’s because we are typically way less emotionally atached to others problems than our own. When someone else is delivering your sales message, they don’t have as much of the inner doubt that you may have… So they can add that confidnce boost you need to convert more customers.Do you feel like your sales message lacks confidence?

When I'm not generating more revenue for my clients through email marketing, I'm doing rockstar stuff! 🤘🏻I took 3 months off work to focus on producing my first-ever solo album...I went from being solely a drummer for the past 18 years...to now writing over 50 songs where I sing and write vocals. I found an amazing guitarist and sound engineer who filled in all the other pieces... And now I'm just a few weeks away from launching my first single! This is my gift to the world and I'm very excited for what is to come. You can follow me at @andy_jeffs on Instagram if you want to follow my music journey a little closer.

Hire a writer to share brand-building personal stories with your audience… Stories are the key to standing out, building a deep connection, and selling without being “salesy”.If you’re a busy person it’s probably hard for you to capture this yourself and post stories consistently. Here’s what to do…1. Hire a writer who is a master at emotional storytelling AND who can sell. 2. Get them to dig through your podcasts, masterclasses, coaching calls, team meetings, etc3. Share voice memos with them4. Wash rinse and repeatOutsource emotional storytelling in your business to build a COOL brand that people love to buy from.I do this with my clients and it can take as little as 20 minutes to 1 hour a month to get enough content from the face/speaker of the brand.

🍄 5 ways doing mushrooms in nature has made me a better marketer, entrepreneur, and human being…So I’m here visiting my place of birth in beautiful Vancouver BC…And after discovering that mushrooms are now being openly sold in stores… I decided to take an adventure in lighthouse park for a little spiritual replenishment 😌Lighthouse Park is an INCREDIBLE place… It’s a hiking wonderland full of GINORMOUS trees, Cliff edges looking out at a miraculous skyline of mountains, surrounded by ocean with some impressive city views too. Anyway, given I was entering into the other dimensions and it was a beautiful day…my entire experience was greatly enhanced… Here are a few downloads that came to me while being hugged by nature…🍄 Looking at the heroic snowy-top mountain Mount Baker from a cliff edge, I realized that everyone is so rushed to get to the top of the mountain. But I feel that few people ever come to realize the mountain looks pretty damn awesome from way down below too. Enjoy the ride!🍄 Lighthouse Park is a hike of many different facets. It just keeps getting better the longer you walk the path. I couldn’t believe how something so beautiful could continue to get better. But it did. That’s the thing about life, it just keeps on getting better. That’s the nature of the universe. 🍄 Observing the gigantic trees it came to me that these trees became great with zero stress, frustration, or struggle. A tree doesn’t worry about whether it will ever reach its full greatness. It knows that growth and excellence are part of its nature. And seeing as we are part of nature, why would we ever need to worry or stress about realizing our full potential? 🍄 The world we live in is pure art. It was consciously created with love and excellence. It’s meant to be enjoyed. Does it need to be any more complicated than that?🍄 Life is a gift, and no matter where we are in our lives, it’s never a bad time to count our blessings. Don’t ever take for granted what we have and remember we are always being looked after. How do any of these relate to being a better marketer or entrepreneur? Well, personally I feel that when I am in the frequency of love and when I am close to nature…Sales copy flows out of me effortlessly and with more joy… I attract more positive people to work with… More brilliant ideas come to me… And those things generally tend to lead to me making more money for myself and my clients. Were the mushrooms necessary? Not necessarily…but my god did I have a good time laughing at big trees all day 😂What outlets do you use to become a better entrepreneur/marketer/person?
