LiquidHearth.com closing on April 10th (1)

The 10th of April, 2019, was the last day LiquidHearth.com was hosted as its own website. During the last few years community activity had constantly decreased and it finally reached a point where we felt like the community wasn't big enough to warrant its own website. We instead decided to try to re-integrate LiquidHearth with TLnet, starting on that date. As we went through with the TLnet renaming, we opened up this forum for Hearthstone.

We — the administrative staff — want to thank all the writers, graphics artists, editors, managers, and especially the Hearthstone community for these past five years, it's been great.

While the closing of LiquidHearth may not come as a big surprise, it's still a sad day for us. Over the last 5 years, LiquidHearth has produced high quality articles through all the ups and downs of the game, something we are very proud of. We're extremely thankful to those who produced that content for us and, just as much, those who kept coming back to read it.

All of that being said, the reality of the situation is that while we feel our content has always been top notch, we were not able to build a strong community as we have on our sister-sites. While we saw some initial success, we were unable to build off that resulting in a site only focused on producing content in the end. Our goal was to build a community site and, unfortunately, we could not realize that goal.

However, this does not mean that we're giving up on Hearthstone. We want to see this as a reunion with TLnet. We hope you all stick around here.

Thank you for the years! I've always enjoyed reading the liquidhearth articles and liquipedia is one of the best ways to follow hearthstone tournaments. Hopefully integration to the TL main will bring new people in again.

We're opening a Hearthstone forum on TLnet which will host our most recent content

Will top streamers be added to TLnet's stream list?

We don't currently have that planned, no. However, that doesn't mean we can't add it in the future.

With the renaming of TLnet we're going to remove a lot of unrelated stream categories from the sidebar. This is based off both popularity of the game's forum on TLnet as well as how popular the existing stream categories are. So if we're successful in re-building the Hearthstone community on TLnet we'll add the streaming category. Keep in mind that this change isn't just being applied to HS, it's for all games on TLnet, so I hope you don't see this as us "targeting" HS.

Thanks for all the articles and everything else over the years boys, it will be missed. Can’t say I’m particularly surprised to see this happen, but it’s still unfortunate. I periodically stop by the site to read the articles, etc. but it has been clear for a while that activity here as been diminishing. Cheers

I really enjoyed Liquidhearth, but I just think it was kinda of a pain in the ass to go to Liquidhearth when I'm already browsing TL.

I'm not a fan of the huge barriers between all the TL sites.

I said it, some years ago, when moderators just think to ban people instead of add useful contents.
Also i sent a mail about this, and I was bulled too.

Sadly it seems i lost my contents too, and all my legend lists. But doesn't matter.

See You
